Katie is a 24-year-old creative, born and raised in lovely Luton, currently undertaking her Bachelor’s degree in Content Creation at Nottingham School of Art and Design. Based between Hertfordshire and London, Katie is passionate about creating work that encourages considerate conversation and promotes radical social change for the betterment of all.

Authenticity. Compassion. Collaboration.
Before beginning her undergraduate degree at age 22, Katie studied photography, sociology, and philosophy at A level. She is passionate about equity and human rights at both local and global levels, and takes an anti-imperialist view regarding current and most affairs (eg. the climate crisis, -phobia/-ism, genocide). Whilst feeling unfulfilled after training hard to eventually run a full-time hairstyling business, she began to explore improved ways of having the difficult conversations she so often found herself wrapped up in (despite her best efforts to remain agreeable!) Having always enjoyed the visual arts and connecting with people from all walks of life, she decided to take to social media, to practise building a solid foundation from which effective solutions may eventually (between us) be found. An imperfect activist, Katie has been vocal throughout her life with roots beginning in animal welfare and Womxn’s safety, for example she was honoured to speak in 2016 at a local BLM protest as a teenager, but has recently resolved to push her involvement to the next level – not only posting and protesting but further actively participating in projects promising viable social solutions and stability.
